You won’t be stumped for conversation with legendary 1980s England cricket captain, David Gower OBE. Having notched up a total of 8,231 test runs, David is England’s fifth highest test match scorer. 

After retiring his cricket bat, David began a second successful career, turning to broadcasting as a TV and radio commentator and presenter. For eight years he captained a team opposite Gary Lineker on the BBC’s They Think It’s All Over. He has been Sunday Express cricket correspondent, columnist on the Sunday Telegraph and the Sunday Times, and hosted international cricket coverage on Sky Sports for 20 years.
